Well, the gas pedal in my 04 is different than in my 03. The pedal in the 03 doesn't have a rubber collar on the arm and the cable ends in a ball. The pedal in the 04 has a rubber collar in the hole on the arm, and the cable ends in a flat machined part. Taking 1/4" inch out of the 04 was cake, just bought a 1/4" nylon bushing, cut a slit into it down the middle and notched a couple of grooves around the outside to hold the tie wrap from slipping. Works like a champ. Taking a 1/4" of slack out of the pedal now keeps me from shifting forward to hit the floor.
