Well, technically it was 289.8 miles when I filled up with 14.458 gallons of gas but you get the picture. This is the best gas mileage I've had yet. It was a combonation of highway and in town driving. I havent been easy on the car either since I've "floored it" here and there to pass slower traffic. Not to mention the heat wave over here is killer. Anyhow, I just thought I'de let you guys know how good my gas mileage has gotten. I've been using Lucas fuel treatment at every tank to neutralize negative effects of bad gasoline. The stuff really works. I get an avergae of about 30 miles extra per tank. It pays for itself. I've also added a oil filter magnet to my car, a rather big one at that. I'm also using Mobil 1 0w-20 with Mobil 1 oil filter. I will be most likely going to amsoil though. I also need to change that fuel filter. Still on the stocker. Anyhow, just thought I'de share my results. :nice:

I'm at slightly under half a tank with 180 miles. That pretty much all highway but includes downgrades where i was cruisng at around 3-3.5k rpm for extended periods of time and passing assclowns who don't know how to drive on a 2 lane highway.

a buddy of mine has a 91 GT auto....offroad midpipe and flowmaster mufflers...are the only engine mods--other than a K&N...
normal driving he would get 27 MPG!!!!

I know the :bs: may come up...but i've heard from many owners of the old 302 that they had better gas mileage than us...under normal driving--that is..

Well i think i got you all beat! i only get 175 tops to a full tank driving like a grandma!!! What could be wrong? and where is the gas goin, plus my dosent run right! :-( thanks guys please help me!
