Gauge Fitment

I really wanted the Autometer dash gauge pod, so I bought it with a tach, boost gauge and wideband:

But Autometer only make the Ultralite Wideband in 2 1/16", the pod is 2 5/8"

So I had a couple spare sheet of carbon fiber laying around, and got an idea:

Should match the Florida 5.0 CF gauges that are on the wish list!

Thanks guys, much appreciated! I am thinking about making some and selling them on ebay, seeing as I haven't found anything that can make a 2 1/16 gauge fit in a 2 5/8 hole, the problem would be the price, Carbon Fiber isn't cheap. How much do you think they would be worth??

Just have to make a set and add in the cost of material and labor... list em on ebay and see what they bring.

Well, it's about $30/sheet for the CF, to make an actual set of adapters I would need 2 per gauge, plus the $15 for Stella, I mean labour, so that is about $25-$30 a gauge to be worth it, seems kinda high to me, anyone with a hole saw and dust mask could do it.....might not be a market after all..

I have one of those gauge pods as well, came with the car but i need some gauges to put in them. Im thinking ill probably just go the cheap route and get a tach and maybe water temp and oil pressure gauge from autozone...
