I keep seeing questions about gears and RPM on here so here is a gear selection chart that should help. The chart will let you select tire size, gear ratio, transmission, and speeds. I hope it is helpful. To get the chart to work, change the .txt to .xls for the Microsoft excel file or use the open with excel feature.

You have to save the file and change the extension to .xls because this site will not let you download an .xls file.

This chart is AWESOME...big props for posting it.

I couldnt decide between 3.73 and 4.10 because I do still drive a lot on the highway even tho I want a quick 1/4 car. I was concerned Id be pissing through gas with the 4.10s driving at a usual 75-80mph

I def. think this should be a sticky...it would get rid of a TON of gears threads!

im not sure if you were the one who made the chart, but would it be possible to add the stock gears on there too, so you can get a real good idea on comparisons

the 3.31 and the 3.55s?

If you changed the file to an Excel file (.xls) or used the "open with Excel" and saved as an Excel file, you should see a pull down menu for the highlighted areas that allow you to change the gear ratios. If the pull downs are not there, let me know.
