I just ordered an o/r h pipe to go along with my magnaflow exhaust.Right now the magnaflows and the stock h pipe is just too mellow.
The o/r h pipe will make the exhaust louder and deeper correct?

Also I live in florida where there is no emmission inspections or anything like that but people are telling me that I better be careful in case a cop pulls me over and checks for cats.Has anyone here ever had a cop pull you over and check for cats? Is this something I should worry about?

And for a car with just bolton's how much more hp will an o/r h pipe add?
5-10 hp?

I live in Florida and have never had any problems with cops and my exhaust. They can however issue a ticket for not having them.

If you're worried about it just weld on heat shields on the h pipe right over the tag that says "for off road use only".

Or lower it so far that the cop can not see underneath.

Yes, definately louder and deeper. I love the sound...and i think 5-10 hp is a very accurate estimate....more towards 10, i think tho

unless your being really stupid when driving around or give the cop a hard time if he pulls you over then dont worry about them checking for them..

depends where you get pulled over. Striped you can appreciate this... in my friend's 98 with just an SLP Loudmouth catback we got pulled over at Old Orchard Beach and the cop did check for cats. Didn't even ask if we had them, just looked under it on his way to give us a ticket for noise pollution.

You could remove all the media from your cats with a 3' section of 1/2" all thread and a hammer. It takes about 10 minutes per cat. It breaks up easy and falls right out the pipe, so I heard.

Then it will pass the visual emissions test, but it doesn't stand a chance with the tailpipe sniffer.

In Pa. if you have 5000 miles or less on the odometer between state inspections, then your exempt from the full emissions test.

I also have another question.I've been hearing that white smoke will be coming out of the exhaust with an o/r mid pipe.
Will it only be when I start it up or will it constantly happen while driving?
