Man your car sounds nearly identical to sage2k's car. We put a lightning meter on his car this weekend - the stock maf was pegged at 5v around 4400rpm.

I like the 255 pump.

I agree on going at least 30lb on the injectors - his 24s are pretty much ragged edge.

If time allows, we're going to drop my spare wideband on his car next weekend and nail down the WOT tuning with the new MAF, hit me up for a good MAF transfer for it - there are quite a few floating around.

I find it easiest to put the PCM back in the white bracket (or as far as it will go w/ the twEECer) and THEN connecting the harness to it.

Do it enough times and you'll have it down to a few minute job to r/r it. :-D

So what are your first twEECs???

I really haven't done anything yet. Loaded up a J4J1 tune, and used the injector slopes from the T4M0 tune because I'm still running my factory 19lb injectors. Took it for a drive and it actually seems to have less power than it did prior to the tune, although it does idle a little more smoothly now. I need to read more before I try to do anything else, and also get some sort of power inverter, so my laptop will stay working longer, and I don't need to run an extension cord to the car for AC power.

I would also load in the offsets from the t4m0 for those 19's

Since you now have slope values that do not equal .........
You are gonna have to play with things to find a breakpoint that works
well for your combo.

For a starting point.....
You may wanna just load in the t4m0 bp value

btw ... All this inj stuff is explained in EA

Yes ... a small loss of power is usually a by product of moving to the j4j1
The spark is less aggressive on the j4j1 than the t4m0
You can easily recover the power with a bit of spark tweecing

Looks like you are starting to have some fun

Don't try to learn all this stuff in one day :Word:

When you copy over the injectors, be sure to copy over:

Scalar: Injector High Slope
Scalar: Injector Low Slope
Scalar: Injector Breakpoint
Scalar: Injector Minimum Pulsewidth
Function: Injector Offset vs Battery Voltage
Table: Injector Timing

The MAF transfer is a tad different, as is the High Speed Fuel Enrichment.

Allow me to elaborate

The offsets we talked about are a function named .......
Injector Offset vs Battery Voltage

The breakpoint is a scalar named ......
fuel_injector_breakpoint

Injector tuning is accomplished V E R Y differently in these two pcm's

You see the slope values being equal in the j4j1 which some have
said makes the breakpoint null and void

You see the offset values being about 200% greater on the t4m0

We need to bring up these things due to you using inj's other than
the default 24's you find in the j4j1

IMHO ... if you are gonna do unequal slope values with the 19's ...
You're gonna have to then deal with a breakpoint
and
You should start your injector tuning with the 19lb inj offset value

btw ... DO NOT try to take info to heart about injector tuning from
any Fox threads you might find on the forums as they are totally in a
different dimension than our pcm :Word:

Actually Matt ... I'd focus on CBAZA threads only about ALL parameters
in the pcm so you don't get misled by info that does not work
with your 94-95 pcm

We have talked about this subject over the years here so you should
be able to find some info and details on injector tuning in the tuning
or tech forms.

Some of that stuff goes way back
before they even started the tuning forum
and for that stuff
You'll find it of course ... in the Tech Forum
