Well I made the decision and got rid of my cobra . I had alot of fun but it was time to move on to something else.It was starting not be fun anymore due to tuning issues related to my 60 lb injectors and pretty much made me sick to even drive my car because it was never the same after the tune and install also I was turning into a modaholic and couldnt stop adding go fast parts it was like never ending. So anyway I didnt want to have to de-mod and put my 39's back in and so on after already getting use to that power level. Well I picked up a new 06 F150 4WD Dark Shadow Grey. I'm loving it and cant wait to do a little off roading with it:nice:

Well that sucks ed, do ya think you'll get another stang? The truck sounds nice well **** it should be it's brand new. You should like it my mother-in-law has a 03 F-150 it's got the biggest V8 and is a 4 door with nice wheels and has all leather in it and is a 4X4 also, they use it to pull there trailer (camper) I'm not saying this is the reason on your decision but the way i am with my stang is i feel i will mod my stang to my comforts and not to compete with all the others on here. Yes it would be cool to say HAHA i got the fastest stang, and when i first got it i was that way , well trying to be that way but now i've come to releize i wont and will stop as soon as i get a GOOD relible street fast stang. We have the 80 still in peice's (yes it still in peice's) that will be done one day and wil be a track car. As it's been said many times before the faster you wanna go the deepeir the pocket. I've been doing preaty good here latly i havent bought anything for it in the last couple months, and the next big step is gonna be the AFR's that my buddy has so there's no big rush to get them and i want to ditch my bassani's and go to mac. At times i wish i would of never got mine but it's what i've always wanted i love the sound of the 5.0's and the looks (well of the fox bodies) but mine is in perfect condition. I only owe 5g's on mine and this year i will try even harder to get it paid off cause the car payments are getting old and with moving out here soon our rent will double. best of luck and hope ya like the truck dont be a stranger :nice: BTW when are ya gonna get the S/C for the F-150 :D peace

Ed,

Sorry to hear you got ride of your cobra.:( You will love the truck! I know I would never again be without a truck. I think Bill is going to sell his to due to all the fuel issues too. At least you got the right color this time.

:jaw: I'm sorry to hear that you sold the cobra. Being discouraged with pesky problems, unfortunately, is part of the hobby.:( On the bright side, I know you will be happy with the truck!:nice: Don't mod it! Keep it stock. I know too many guys who have purchased newer trucks of similar size to yours, and then tried to follow my Bronco II up and down mountain trails. Repeat after me: No mods, no mud pits, and no rocky trails! Knowing how meticulous you were with the cobra, you would die if you incurred the damage inherent with even light off-road activity.
Having said all that, if you need a modified Cobra ride now and then, Allen and Bill-doe should still be able to hook you up. Gongrats! :hail2:
