Definitely gears. From there, starting a little lower-end (dollar-wise) and working up (all bolt-on stuff):

Underdrive pulleys
cold air kit
MAF sensor
throttle body
performance chip
cat-back exhaust
H-pipe or prochamber
LT headers

Accufab plenums look a lot better and make more power than the C&L. You an get a 70 or 75mm T/B.
