Good Deal?

I just came across a good deal on a '95 GT 5spd. with low miles. I read the car isnt that quick and can only get a 15.1 in the quater mile? Is that right..? or how quick are they really when stock? I dont mind having that right now because I would be saving up for some mods down the road but what would it take to at least get into the mid-low 14s? Thanks.

a good driver can get a stock one in the mid 14's, get 3.73's in there and you'll be moving

With traction and a good driver you "could" get 14.7 it also depends on track elavation, track preperation, weather so on and so forth.

Cool, well im pretty much at sea-level, and its kind of chilly and I can get a pos 4cyl mitsu truck to chirp 2nd.. lol so 14s it is. thanks for imput. BTW, if i get the car the first mods are a CAI, Headers, full exhaust and probaly 3.73's or more

It all depends on the stock gear ratio. 2:73, 3:07, 3:27. With good sea level conditions and a good launch, and a good driver, 2:73's in a 5spd can dip into the 14's (14.95 or so.) The same car with the 3:27's under the same conditions can go 14.6-14.7. A full exhaust set up with 3:73 can get you around a 14 flat.

They are asking about 7k for it. My freind gave me some advice to shoot for 4500-5k or bust. We shall see what happens. If I got left over money then gears, CAI, and exhaust will come very soon. Maybe Santa has somethin in store?? lol... BTW, is there anything really un-reliable about this year? cause i allready drive a Just Empty Every Pocket.. (Jeep)

i had gotten my 94 gt with 84,000 miles and amazingly well taken care of by women, for 4800. im sure they will go cheaper.

FYI, i wouldnt spend money on a CAI, instead jsut get a k&N filter, pop it in the stock box and remove the airsilencer, same principal as a CAI, but 3 times as cheap

You should be in the high 14's!
