Personally I'd skip the TB. On our cars we'll see very little if any gain from it. Plus a lot of people report they never get the idle to act correctly afterwards. Plus there can be an issue with the cruise control operation after installing an aftermarket TB.

If anything do what Tom suggests and get the stock TB ported. Hell, get the TB, inlet, and Eaton all ported while you're at it!

U.M.

P.S. If anything... wait until Doug at Billetflow starts producing his TB's again. They've been out of production for almost a year now, but I hear they have some new machinery coming on line and production is supposed to crank back up again.

Well, I put on an Accufab TB a while back. No probs with idle. The car has many other mods too, with professional Dyno tune with Diablo chip. Runs perfect.

My next mods: Upgraded Whipple Charger, Long Tubes to match up with my MagnaFlow 3" exhaust, Bigger Heat exchanger, and whatever else I might add. I only want to go up to 625hp (ish) anymore and won't be as much fun on the street.

I picked up 12 to the tires with a home porting.... so i guess each car is different.

Are you still running the stock pulley?

U.M.

P.S. The ramp profile on the Accufab is steeper than stock which gives people the illusion of better throttle response. Wait until the new Billetflow model is released again. Same ramp profiles as stock, cruise control will work correctly, and it flows more than all the others.
