I"m getting ready to order a Baer 4 wheel disc conversion for my 67, and I'll be needing to get new rims as well. :D I'm going to get AR TTII's, 17x8 in the front and probably 17x9.5 in the rear.

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable, fair-priced online dealer? I'll probably give M+ a call and see if they can give me help and a quote on the rim package I need; I've dealt with them before and was very satisfied.

also, can anyone who has 17" TT II's (preferably on a 67-68) tell me what is the best backspacing for them, and what is the largest tire I can run without rubbing or having to roll my fenders? I will also be installing GW Negative Roll UCA's, so the negative camber might give me better tire-to-fender clearance, I hope.

All suggestions are appreciated. I want to get this right before I order.

I can't open Dodgestang's fitment chart from home, so I'll have to see if I can get it from work tomorrow.

Thanks all!

I would seriously look into it before you order.

I had to sell my AR S-200's because they were the wrong offset for my 67!

Fricken AR SUCKS for customer service!!!!!! I will never, repeat never, buy another thing that is made by AR!!!!!!!

They have 3 3/4" backspacing on most of their rims........which is great if you drive a chevy!

I called them......ya I finally found a customer service number after MUCH searching....turns out it is for dealers only......anyway, they are not interested in any customer problems.....PERIOD!

So, I would avoid them like the plauge.......but that is just my humble opinion.

Once you KNOW exactly what sizes you need...

There are a couple of EBAY vendors that sell NEW TTII wheels. You just have to find the right oens with your specs or email the seller and ask if he or she has the ones you need in stock.

(they also selll brand new 17" chrome bullets for under $775)

Performance wheel outlet

Hey Man,

Ive got the real anwer for your tire and rim sizes, for I just got doing this not long ago. I have a 66 coupe but it will work just fine for ya. Go to www.performancewheeloutlet.com and check them out. They have thier prices listed on the website. I put on 17" by 8" 180 series Bullet rims and gave me free shipping and handling plus 2 different style center caps. One as youll see on the website, plus caps that look like the tip of a bullet. They look awsome. The wheels came with a 0 offset with a 3 1/2 in. backspace. Run some 235/45/17 in the front and 245/45/17 for the rear. Thats what I did, and it works really well. Ill have some pics soon.Once I can figure out how to upload them, My computer is very slow. Hope this helps.
My whole package from them (chome) came to about 750.00. thanks ,
