Just wanted to say thanks to Jon and Paul for the time and effort installing my Kenne Bell blower. It was definately worth the drive down from Seattle. As for the blower, all I can say is holly sh%t.!!!!   My neck is still sore from the test drive, and who would have thought that 5th gear could be a good passing gear. The low end on the thing is amazing.

Now for the bad part. After doing a couple of runs from third gear...I'm still grinning from these...I settled down and put the cruise on at 8 mph over. Being the only car on I-5 at midnight, I figured this was probably cool. Wrong.... I first got popped south of Olympia. Next I'm on I-90 doing 5 over at about 2:00 am and a cop comes roaring up and tailgates me...pulls along side....tailgates some more and pulls off. Then, I'm just about to turn into my subdivision when a Sammamish cop lights me up....again doing less than 10 over on a deserted stretch of road. :bang: Fortunately, no tickets, but crap I'm parinoid now.

Anyway, thanks guys for taking the time to hook me up. I'm loving it! :spot:

Cool about your new found grunt!!

I got blown in portland too, but we won't go there...

As for the cops, thats the time of night they are doing drunk test's and any reason to pull you over is a good reason...

:D :D :D

I believe that the girl that won was from WA, not the 2nd place runner up. It is all over the radio here.

P.S. Congrats on getting blown :nice: :D Remember that this is memorial day weekend and they literaly quadrupled the State Patrol just for this week and weekend.

That and I heard on the news a few days ago. That they were going on this big kick about enforcing the speed limit. They are going to have helicopters and apparently 45 extra staters on duty each day. The good news is that it is only for a month.

JetBrett,

I'm looking at doing the same thing in my '03. Where did you end up getting the kit, and what did you pay if you don't mind my asking? Also, what did the installation run, and how long did it take? Are you using the KB or a custom tune? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
