Are you sure you're experiencing blow by and the problem isn't with your valve guides?

I imagine they should be fine, but I'd have your shop check them over really good. How many miles are on your current shortblock?

yea it's blowby i had it tkaen to shop and i have thought it was blowby and then they told me that i did have it. it's a stock block that was bored out to a 306
