Hey guys I was just letting you know the dyno numbers that I got last weekend.

I have a 2010 GT Premium Auto and it put down 269 hp/ 272 ft lbs torque. I have a Magnaflow Magnapacks and Steeda underdrive pulleys. I was really hoping it was more but the guys at the shop said that the drive train loss is 18-20 % with an Auto. But that puts me at around 328-336 hp and 331-340 tq. at the crank.

Not bad for just those mods. I'm putting down 293RWHP (about 360 crank hp) and 310RWTQ (370 lbs crank) with basicly every bolton I could get for my 01 GT. If you got a JLT CAI and tuned your car for 93 oct you probably would be 280+rwhp.

I also had my 2010 Dyno'd, They couldn't improve on the SCT 93 Octane tune without pulling fuel out. (That was of course locked out by SCT/American Muscle.) With Roush Off road cat backs an Pypes X pipe, steeda underdrive pulleys, steeda CAI, SCT 93 octane tune I got 294 RWH. about 15hp improvement

I'm thinking of doing it with mine. I plan on changing the air filter and flash tuning it...thinking of doing a run stock then swapping out the filter and flashing a tune to see what gains I get.

As others have stated, those numbers are nothing to be ashamed of....especially considering you pushing it through an automatic trans. Those numbers are as good as, if not even a little better than a N/A Cobra/Mach 1 4V engine.

More than 350.....I should say so!!! You could probably see those numbers with one plug wire off. Last dyno results I saw with the new 5.0L they made 395rwhp on a bost stock 2011.

So what do I think.....awesome!!!

It could be putting down stock 700hp to the wheels, who cares?

I drive my car around town, I want it to look and sound good...last time I checked I don't go to the 1/4 mile track for fun or nor to get I paid to, and I refrain from racing teenagers from stoplight to stoplight.

I'll mod my car some more for sure, but big HP really means nothing to me at this point for a daily driver

Yeah, I had a '95 Cobra and the 2010 GT 4.6 (or even the '08) is quicker.

How much difference do the underdrive pulleys make (in both HP or driveability while running the air, etc) and are they a PITA to install?

Probably the same thing they thought when the first GT350 came out...or the '67s came out with the 390...or they offered a 428CJ....or when the Boss 351, 302, or 429 came out...or when the '87 5.0 was released...or when the '92 Cobra came out...or when the '95 Cobra came out...or when the '96 Cobra came out...or when they upped the HP on the 4.6 GT....or ....or....or....or.....or when the 2013 came out and they fixed all the minor problems with the new 5.0 and bumped up the HP another 25

Thankfully Ford keeps making them better and the "Mustang III" hasn't been released yet in the interest of fuel savings and pollution control. I mean, really! The 2010 GT is quicker than a Boss 429...my 1990 GT killed a Boss 302...my '65 Fastback with a 289 3spd won many a race with a Honda. Who cares? They're all fun cars and just because something newer or faster is on the scene doesn't mean what you already have isn't enjoyable to drive around.

The pulleys arent a huge difference but I could feel better response and it also idles a little smoother. I picked up 9 hp and they werent too bad to install. You just need an impact wrench or breaker bar to remove the harmonic balancer bolt.
