Love these f 'ing tires. Hook very well. Need to practice launches though, they still spin hard in 1st.

Can someone tell me how to get a good 1st gear laucnh?

What do you think the lifespan is on this tires with occasional burnouts? Also, I should mention that the car sees the road only on dry days during the spring and summer.

I think I've heard of people milking 9000 or so miles out of them. but that's probably taking it easy. the average is about 4-5000.

Yeah...a couple people said that. Today though, I busted off a 4.532 second, 0-60, using a G-Tech and my God it seemed even faster than that. It was my first time doing a timed run with the car since I had all the work done so I was real rusty. I think the car has a 4.2-4.3, 0-60 in her yet. I also was running the tires at 35 psi. I'll play around more, but these are great tires!

mine suck...lol....1st, 2nd, 3rd,or 4th...NON EXISTENT...i was cruising down this loal road, where i usually stab the throttle in 3rd, and the car just didnt feel like it was pulling normally...so i kept doing it, but instead i was looking in the rear veiw mirror instead of down the road....i was leaving two long tire marks down the road in 3rd gears...oh well.

Chuck the DR's and install some 26 x 10.5 ETstreets on ten holes and you'll realize how bad the DR's suck.

NMRA dropped the weight break for DRs in the Real Street (9 second cars) class. Wonder why? They work just as good or better than ET Streets, when used properly.

That being said, ET Streets are more forgiving and easier to use.

What's a good PSI to use on these for daily driving and for runs down the dragstrip?

Also, is a 4.5 second 0-60 good with my mods and being a "rookie" driver?

20-25 on the street otherwise the centers wear too fast. 11-12 at the track.
