You can use a soldering iron to melt the lock-tite on the TPS screws.

You need to adjust the tps vpltage to just under 1 volt, .97-.99 ia good. This gives the best throttle response. Setting the TPS can be a pain. I ended up using my predator to set the TPS because I didn't have a meter I could back probe the TPS with.

The adjustment you speak of is very minimal. Unless you can manipulate the potentiameter that is the TPS more than what is restricted by the screw holes you aren't gaining or losing anything. You can, if you want to play with a 40 dollar piece of plastic, drill new holes and connect them with the old to make it more adjustable but I'd just stick with attaching it an sticking with minimal adjustment.
