Got my Rims today!!

I got my Cobras put on today!! So sweet!!! With the Nitto's they look awesome!! I'm hoping I should have some pictures soon. I'm gonna try to borrow a friends digital camera and snap a few shots. If people are available we should meet up somewhere this weekend, maybe grab some BPs or something! I'd be cool for some people who really like Mustangs to see my car!

It's kind of hard to tell in these pictures, because they are soo close up but from what I can see they look good, but it looks like there is quite a bit of space between your tires and the wheel wells, you may want to lower your car now :shrug:
 
Red2000GT - I think they should be better now, I brightened them up. Oh and do you remember from last summer, I had that green 99 V6. I hung with you once or twice at Golden Mile.

Jd200287gt - I added one picture from a bit further back, but 94-04 Mustangs are HORRIBLE for wheel well gap! I'll probably lower it but not till next summer, if I do any more mods this year it'll be Magnaflow exhaust (catback for sure, maybe a midpipe too). Obviously paying for the car is gonna be the main focus, but I'm sure a few mods will make it on! I also don't want to void my warranty or anything so I have to be a little careful with things.

LOL! I was gonna say the same thing...like whoa, that's one long azz aftermarket shifter. :p

Wheels looks vewwwwy nice, but that baby desperately needs to be lowered...much like my car, so I won't be critical. :D

I was just noticing it since I have it and mine is easily over 2 inches shorter. One of the best mods i did. Makes driving so much more fun.

I'm REALLY excited to get it in there! Everyone says that it's like the best first mod so I'm pretty pumped! I mean comparing the GT to my V6 this tranny and shifter are way better. So I'm pretty excited to see what having the Pro 5.0 is like!

Thanks Taryn! I know it really needs springs! I think I wanna get a set of H&R SuperSports at some point. What do you guys think of Ford Racing Springs, I wanna drop the car 1.5" - 1.75" and from what I've seen H&R seems to be the best but I know Joe, you have Ford Springs on your car. What do you guys think I should go with? And finally do you guys think I should do springs or cat-back exhaust first?

Well the catback is only going to give you sound. Little or no HP increase. Springs will make your car look better, handle better, ride rougher. I have the Eibachs, but H R are good, and so are the Ford C springs. Anything much more than 1.75" in drop and you will need c/c plates.

I guess springs would also be cheaper too. I'll have to think about this. I'm kinda debating between H&R and Ford C now though... H&R I'll get more of a drop which is good for looks, but in Regina, that might not be the best idea! I've read that C's are about a 1.2" drop and SuperSports are like 1.75" which is a big difference.
 
The c's do not drop the car too much at all. I know a certain someone that put the c's in his car... It still required some more effort to get it down to where he wanted it. So no, it is not going to be too much of a drop at all.

Kev, are you talking about Russ (Red200GT for those who don't know him)? He has the C springs with a coil or two cut out right? His car looks right badazz, but oh so very very low. :D No c/c plates though, right?

I've heard good things about the C springs, I don't think you'd be disappointed. I mean, if it's not low enough you can always cut coils out.
