Got pulled over this afternoon

pulling out of a gas station in the 93 I gave it just a little too much gas and spun the right rear tire quite a bit. Much to my dismay I saw out of the corner of my eye two county sherrif cars in the next gas station. The one car that was getting ready to pull out comes hauling butt after me and stays behind me for 5 mins or so til im about to get on the highway and leave his jurisdiction. Really I already was out of his jurisdiction cause I was already on the onramp but I dont know if that woulda made any difference. He walked up and said "in a hurry to get somewhere?" I said no and told him what happened and he took my license and registration and came back and asked me if I could think of a reason why he shouldnt give me a reckless driving ticket I told him my new car has traction control and im not use to driving without it He said he was gonna let me go against his better judgement. Thank you

I would have already been tazered w/in a min of stopping. It's not that bad, the booze tends to num the pain. Worst part is when you try and yank those prongs out. nice, smooth talking though

haha, sounds like what happened to me. Pulled out onto a road and put it sideways in first and second...there was a cop 4 cars behind me and he saw the whole thing

my tune has t/c turned off in the cobra now, i pulled out onto the main 35 mph road yesterday in the rain. sharp right, little gas, ass end completely sideways.

i steered out of it fine, but really caught me by suprise. forgot how much t/c actually helps in situations like that on these cars.

you got lucky with the cop. nobody saw my incident.

B/s with the Reckless Driving crap. It's very hard to get a R/D ticket unless there is a crash or property damage.

yea like the first week i had my licence i was sittin at a four way stop and the guy infront of me would not go and i was rolling backwards down the hill and then he moved on and i floored it and just smoked the tires a lil bit and looked in my rear view( city police) i pulled over to the side of the road and got out and was reaching under my car and the cop came and said if i had a problem and i said i just put in a new clutch and the cluch cable broke and caused my car to burn out and i acted like i fixed and he just said nice car and have a nice day.... my heart droped

ill have to remember that one

He was just a county cop so he probably didn't give me a ticket cause he wasn't sure if it was "wreckless" or "reckless" driving

i was driving up I-75 and i was cruzing at 70mph well thats what my speedo says and florida highway patrol clocked me at 85mph! i was shocked when he told me that! i know my speedo was off and i know it seems like the faster i go the more its off... because at 40mph i am doing 46mph?? i was shocked when he told me that... so he gave me a ticket for going 9 over instead of 15 over... which was a 100 dollars cheaper... he gave compliments on my car too with my exhaust and decal on my thrid brake light... but still was kind of a dick! but 80 dollar ticket compared to 184 is ok with me!

For me, I pulled out onto a 25 mph street at night. Having fun, I gased it a bit getting a little sideways. There was a cop right behind me. He pulled me over, and the next thing I know there were 5 cop cars blocking me in. They were asking me if I had weapns or anything in the car (this was like 3 days after 9-11). He gave me a 50 ticket with 1 point. I went to court and told the judge I had an explanation, to which he said, "Oh, I gotta hear this!". I told him that I had just washed my car and used this new tire shine. The combo of that and feeling like the car was speeding up behind me were responsible for the whole thing. He asked the cop what he thought, and the cop said, "His car was freshly cleaned", to which all the cops and even the judge busted out laughing. I should have just kept my mouth shut. I did get the point knocked off though. But I am sure I made their day. I will definately use that clutch excuse in the future.

Hear that fellas, just got the stang up to school yesterday. I was going to the do it urself car wash and i was in the college parking lot. well i just got the gears ni the day before so you know how fun first gear is... i TAPPED it and i think i scared the **** out of everyone. The car wash place is literally 2 football fields down the street. I get there and back the car in and get out and a god damn cop car comes pulling in. im walking away like WTF... . he drives up to my car...stop then does a couple of slow circles and leaves. i was praying he didnt get out, i was waiting for a ticket for the exhaust...i didnt even spin when i actually got on the road. but none the less i was a little nervous since i just paid a 100 buck for a buddy to give me an inspection sticker the way the car is.

lol did the same thing told em i jus got the car and a buddy told me if im about to stall to just mash the gas... Hes like either u jus got the car or your a great driver . He let me go but f%^&ed me anyways cuz he punched me into the comp and my insurance found out and they made me put it under my name not my dads
