grinding on downshift.......Eghgg

only in 2nd, sometimes when i down shift, if i dont hold back on the shifter, my car will pop out of 2nd or, it will grind, almost like its not in all the way, but it just pops out....only on down shift it pops out though, it i romp it in 2nd, the let off it will be fine.....also, my shifter IS adjusted correctly as they said in the driections, and it was doing it b4 i got it...help?

you need to replace your synchro gears, and probably the synchro rings etc. i would get the rebuild kit from d&D or something like that. And then iw ould get a new 1-2 synchro gear, and i would make sure to check the teeth on the gears themselves wher the synchro slides on and off to make sure they weren't wore too much either
