GT-40 Crate motor.......

Well I'm a little confused. I'm not too familiar with the GT-40 Crate motor but after reading the specs from Ford Racing the only difference between it and the 93 Cobra motor seem to be that the crate has aluminum vs. cast heads on the Cobra. Yet the crate motor is rated between 315-345 HP while the car is 235. What is the difference?

good question, the cobra motor ratings are WAY off, I beleve the GT40 crate comes with a alphabet cam and a few other things as well....

well I've called SVT and the flat out told me he can only give me the advertised numbers.

SVT claims between 315-345 flywheel rated hp using different air and fuel induction then what is on the 93 cobra.
