Hey guys (or girls), I have a friend thats looking at an 87' or 88' GT vert. I was wondering what are some things he should look for in particular. He hasn't told me much about it yet, so I'll let you know more as soon as I get it. Thanks for any help..........
not a big fan of verts, but hey, do u mean what to look for cause its a vert? or just overall in the car, theo nly thing i could say is if it has leaks or something in the roof
I'm not a fan of verts either, but to each his own.... I didn't know if there were any eccentricies to them that you had to look out for (i.e. common problems, certain year problems, etc.). Just wondered
verts are great. vert specific info: obviously check the top for proper operation and latching. look for tears. make sure the 1/4 windows work well. no leaks (local coin operated car wash is nice for testing).
if applicable, check floor boards for rust.
he can pull the carpet deal in the front of the trunk to check the hydraulic pump leaks.
that is what comes to mind, vert specific.
