GT40 heads & spring upgrade help

I have a 1971 302 that I'm putting the GT40 heads on, I installed Trick Flow Specialties TFS-2500100 - Trick Flow® Valve Spring Upgrade Kits, and pedestal roller rockers; my question will these springs be too stiff or strong for my stock cam in the 71 302. My plans are to use the stock cam.

I have that same kit installed on my heads, but mine is a 1988 HO roller engine with an ISKY cam in it. If that were my engine, I personnaly would not feel comfortable with those springs on a stock flat tappet camsaft.
