I'm going to put in a KB 1500 supercharger sometime before next winter but I want to upgrade the heads and intake. There is a KB 1500 made for the GT-40 lower so I'm thinking about going with a GT40 intake and GT40P heads. I am budget minded so that's why I want the GT40P heads.

Can I use the GT40 lower with the stock upper? I will be removing the upper when I will have the KB supercharger so I don't want to spend $500 on a full GT40 intake when I can buy the lower on ebay for $150.

Also will the heads and intake just bolt on or will other things have to be changed like pushrods?

I will probably change the injectors to better ones when I do the head swap. Will 30 lb injectors be good for the KB 1500 @ 6 to 8 psi?

Also is the Pro-M a good MAF to get with the injectors?

I'm gonna have to dissagree. You CAN use your current headers or just normal headers for the GT40P heads BUT you're going to need to make something to be able to get the spark plugs out. A cut socket will work great. They do work it just might be a PITA

To get the most from that lower intake with the KB, you should port it.

would you really notice the difference between the stock lower and the GT40 lower intake manifold with the KB supercharger?

Depending on the heads used - you bet.

KB says there's more torque with the GT40 lower.

Compair the ports on a stock intake to the GT40... I'm sure you'll know which one to get

How much power are we talking here? Enough to make you really want to spend the extra money for the GT40 Intake? I dont know of anywhere you can purchase just a GT40 lower intake to be honest, But I don't own a Stang ...yet

Don't even use a stock lower - get one ported to use with the KB - same goes for the GT40 lower.
