GT40 Iron/AFR 185 Interchange on 331?

Hey guys...coming into some money and am going to get a 331 bottom end. I'll be upgrading the heads and such later but will retain the GT40 gear until then. My qustion is, will I retain the same compression ratio and everything going from the GT40 Irons to AFR 185's? I want to make sure I can run the GT40 stuff for now and then switch over to the 185's later with no problem. I would do it all at once but my current bottom end's leaking and making some noise so I want to change it now...Thanks.

Everything changes right over.

Compression differences will vary by less than half a point between MOST aftermarket cylinder heads. The difference will be so negligible, you won't be able to tell.
