gt40_2003wes *OFFICIAL* 2011 NFL Thread

Anytime you put a label on a team it puts a target on your back and raises your expectations.

Rams- Greatest show on Turf.... Lose to the Patriots in the superbowl

Cowboys- Americans Team....Last won a superbowl or playoff game when???

A lot of more examples out there but you get my point. All I'm really saying is the Eagles can expect a bunch of Fail this season.

Don't forget that team called the "19-0 Unbeatable Patriots". I think they lost that Superbowl.

Wes... Have you quit paying attention to FF or something? You started THREE inactives!

Aside from that, the games have been pretty impressive today. I caught the announcers making a mistake earlier, though. They said Brady was the 6th player to have two 400+ yard passing games in a row, and they went through and announced them. The one they forgot, though, was Cam Newton, earlier in the day. He had his 2nd 400+ yard game today, which would mean HE was # 6, and Brady was # 7.... At least that's how I saw it...

lol no i was in pigeon forge tennessee for the grand rod run car show since last thursday and didn't get home till after 2 p.m today so i was unable to change any of my fantasy stuff up...

The Browns beat the Colts, and I think I saw a flying pig outside this afternoon...

Browns were favored in that game also.......The Browns are going to be a young and upcoming team. As soon as they get the new systems down(switched to West Coast Offense and 4:3 D this year), I think they may actually be a contender. If not this year, next year for sure.

Oh, man. Another Giants player out for the year. Domenik Hixon (WR) torn ACL. He was the player that made that crazy end zone grab on MNF.

In other news, guess what NFL QB has the very best 8 game regular season stretch?

NFL threatens fines, suspensions for faking injuries - ESPN

Better yet how bout them Lions...26-23 in OT, gotta love it. ESPN just throws us under the bus and points out we haven been 3-0 since 1980....So lets see what news they have next week when we 4-0 (hopefully)

:rlaugh: I couldn't help but laugh yesterday when I heard my MN Vikings lost after being up 20-0... what a joke. I can't believe they picked up McNabb. McNabb is worse today then Favre will be in 10 years :nono:

Yep, it was a great comeback....And I'm glad McNabb is with the vikings, not a eagle fan but was glad to see Vick get the starting QB pos (even though I don't know how long he'll be out for with that broken hand from last nights game)
