Thanks everyone. Getting the mustang registered over there might be more of a challenge than a stock vehicle, but ive been told that we in the military don't have to comply with the same vehicle standards that the germans or other civilians do.

When I started the stang up for the first time after ranger school it ran fine for about ten minutes. Then flames burst across the windshield! A wall of fire was coming out of the cowl hood. I freaked and shut the car down. Thank god for the fire extinguisher I keep in the car. When I opened up the hood I noticed that flames had localized to the drivers side near the headers. A quick blast from the extinguisher put out the fire. The I saw it. The power steering pump's pressure line had melted on the header. It had sprayed a mist of the fluid across the engine bay. No worries though. I've replaced the line and also have the new Ron Davis radiator and twin spal fans working. The car idles at a steady 186* now. On wednesday I'm planning on getting the new a/c system's electronics functioning again. Then I'm going to tackle all of the damned leaks.

I did race an '08 LS3 436hp M6 corvette with optional exhaust bypass valves. I lost! Of course I had to back out of the gas at least four times in second gear. So we ran it again and I started in third. He jumped out about two cars and when the turbo spooled I went a little sideways but was able to stay in it until I had 3-4 cars on him. Afterwards he laughed pointed to his ear and said "ouch, loud! Ok ok you win.". It was pretty funny.

Anyway, I'm hanging out in destin,fl. Is anyone else from this area?
