My wife doesnt like riding in my stang, and she doesnt like some of the food I might eat while driving in it....Brats. She says it is too bumpy, and jerky.
Do you think modified stangs are gender specific like some of the food guys like...Brats and beans. I actually use my coffee holder sometimes. it works, but is in the way of my Nitrous switch ...not like I would use the two at the same time.

Rule #1 man....all women are psycho.

do only guys modify mustangs? probably not. but i bet over 90% of them do, ESPEICALLY foxes. To alot of guys and almost any woman, theyre ugly and boxy. Cars are just another way for most women to do what theyre best at, attract attention.

Its actually one of the reasons i like foxes. dont like it? GOOD. stay out of it and stay away from it.

No, it's not gender specific. I'm a chick and I own two foxes. Both modified.

Nice way to stereotype.

my fiance LOVED my h/c/i 94 cobra...was as upset as i was when it got totalled. she HATED my h/c/i, C4, drag radialed 89 lx hatch. and LOVES my new bone stock 94 cobra.

why would u eat in your car......... that as bad as putting a 9' wing on the back of one. its a smack in the face. no food in my car. ill eat outside or in the resturaunt.

First off: NO eating in my car!

My wife likes me spending money to make my toys look better, not so much perform better. If performance makes it louder then she thinks I ruined it:(

Funny story...a few years ago i went through my snowmobile, new clutching, twin pipes and can, geared down, jetted, and some porting. She thought I was nuts for spending money to make it faster, maybe she was right but the point is she would have loved it if I spent the same money and made it look better.

Women are into the aesthetic's, I think they can better relate to the looks because the majority of them do not understand the mechanical parts of the car, sled, bike, ATV...whatever.

EDIT- Makes me wonder, are women not effected like men to the feel of speed, acceleration and electricity in the air when a cammed bigblock goes rolling by?

most girls seem to be ok with my car. most like it at first... then they realize its an obsession. and that shes the main women in my life. some are ok with that, others not so much.

but they all bitch about the cam, the turn downs, the msd box in the passenger side footwell is alittle loud. it squeks, it rides alittle rough. but, the ones that are ok with it dig it, the ones that arnt... well put out or get out.

man i turn 20 friday... im getting old :-/

Most of my girl friends love going for rides in the Mustang, and the ex even raced a SCed one at the track quite often (when she was 17-18 years old, blown 2002 GT). Have yet to find a girl friend who saw it and had anything negetive to say really.

I agree with the above....

most people hate the fox body!(especially chicks) which makes me love it more!!!!!!!!!! i have never met a girl, except for one that loved it, got in it, drove around with me, and loved it more!!!!!!!!! all my exgirlfriends are like,,,,eeeewww thats a mustang!>>??!?!?

most my friends especially in high school hated on it, until i would let them ride in it, or rev it up in the ol' parking lot, over the sound of there fart cannons, systems, and stealthy mercedes.

the more people hate foxes, the less likely they are going to want one, which means more for me!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

You just have to make it look more modern and appeal to those people. As much as they do look like 80's Excorts, you can make them appeal to almost anyone, somehow!

ok ok ok...ill rephrase. 99.9999% of women are psycho. you own two modified foxes? My hats off to ya. Where i live, foxes are actaully pretty rare because people dont really like em i guess. Of the foxes you do see, half of them are beat-to-**** 4 bangers, and ALL of them are driven by guys. So its just what im used to. Regardless, you wouldnt happen to be 20-22 years old, single, and in missouri, would you? Sure wish i could meet a girl who doesnt ask me what im into or what i like, and then get that glazed-over, "i drive a toyota because theyre cars for idiots like me" look when i tell her...Its all i know, so, you cant blame me for stereotyping a little bit! I mean you cant tell me youve never rolled your eyes at guys who wear wrinkly shirts, or the same shirt for a couple of days, or the same pair of jeans for a couple of weeks, refuse to put on chapstick in the winter, wipe their nose on their sleeves, pick their nose, etc...
