Guy Food, Mustang

thats one opinion, but your average V6 SN95 is a chick car...or mexican rig if done up right
No more so a chick car than the 2.3L powered I-4 that kept the Fox body alive from '87-'93. The difference being the chicks driving the SN95's are in their 20's and 30's where the ones running around in the old 4-pot Fox's are well into their 40's and 50's. You gotta love that extra hatch space for yard sales and bringing home the groceries though. :p

Yes, they are quite "nice" looking, what else could a girl want? That "nice" rainbow colored one with the pink background definitely proves your point though.

Girls like the classic Muscle and the Exotics too, should we reserve those for Barbie and Brittany while we’re at it? Ignorance is bliss with you I see. That's alright, you stay in your cave, chipping away at your wheel and continue taking them lightly and talking trash while the rest of us buy em up and smile. We’ll be out driving them around and performing “real” modifications while you Fox guys are scrambling around the wreckers and the aftermarket for brake, interior and chassis parts just to bring your cars up to factory par with the SN95’s. I don’t blame you for being so defensive thought, a Fox body was all I could afford when I was 20-years-old too. Work with what you’ve got, right! ;)

You kind of remind me of the typical smart assed kid in his ragged out 200,000-mile Fox body/F-Body that think pulleys and a CAI are major mods and have fooled themselves into thinking they’re the only “hot car” on the road. I meet up with your kind all of the time. They’re continuously under the impression my "old mans car" is nothing to worry about either since it’s on the portly side and doesn’t have a running pony in the grill, or a “5.0” badge on the front fender. It's funny....you ask any of them to describe my car and they'll all tell you the same thing. "We only got a look at it from the back end!" :nice:

Don't get me wrong, if I were planning on building a track only car that I wanted to do nothing more with than go fast in a strait line (or was trapped in the 80's and couldn't shake the thought of owning a Fox body, jean jackets or deck shoes), I'd buy another one in a second. But for a daily driver and all around great ride with a lot of needed refinement the Fox lacked over it's run.....the newer breeds have it hands down. The softer lines of the SN95 aren't for everybody, but these cars are by no means any less of a Mustang than it’s predecessors as proven time and time again at the track and on the street by their owners. I mean.....if you really want to get finicky about it, the SN95 is the Fox's superior, just as the S197 is the SN95's superior. You can't fight progress baby.....but you can sure crawl under a rock and try like hell to ignore it, can't you blackened88lx? :D

Wow, hell of a rant from a Moderator against someone who was posting his one sentance opinion.
Well, you know what they say about opinions, don't you? ;)
Yikes, didn't know fox bodies were such junk, but I do learn new every day.
Not junk at all....had 4 of them myself, the last of which for over 6-years, but they're also not the be all, end all answer to cheap performance and "cool" cruising as some here would like to believe. A little refinement never hurt anyone and certainly makes the SN95 no less or more "manly" than any other! I mean, they're all pretty "tame" looking in stock trim.....fox bodies included!

I know thats why I agree for the most part. I like lots of other cars better than fox's, but bang for the buck for poor people such as myself it is hard to beat!

The SN95s might look more "girlish" simply because of the softer lines, but when done right they all can look damn sexy!

if sn95's are girl then call me a b%&CH...ive had both, and the sn95 is without a doubt the better looking and riding car with just as much performance potential in the hands of the right owner. just my opinion, and i loved my fox as well, but it just isnt the quality of car that the sn95s are

Wow. I never expected a personal attack and this level of immaturity from a moderator. Like 25th said, all from a one sentence opinion on how I think a car looks?? That makes me ignorant? You're calling me defensive.... Do you even have an sn95 Mustang? I didn't say anything about Cougars, in fact I like your car. It's a hell of a lot cooler than an SN95 Stang imo.

While I am 20 years old, I don't fit the stereotype that you reference. I actually drive an immaculate 43k original mile LX hatch. I could have easily bought an sn95 for the same price, I just didn't want one. That's my opinion, sorry. As far as my CAI and ud pulleys, I'm in the process of a h/c/i/turbo setup, but I'm going to keep it mild at around 550 to the ground on very low boost and a safe tune to save the stock block. If you didn't live so far away you'd be more than welcome to put your money where your mouth is. There's 3 of us smart ass 20 yr olds with junk 5.0s for you to choose from.

do me a favor, when you get that 550rwhp combo built, take it for a drive, and then put the block on a stand and turn it upside down...then take a pic, im interested in what your cam will look like through that crack!

:D Let's hope that doesn't happen for a while. I'm using a 4 position flip chip so there will be a couple milder tunes for everyday use. The big tune will just be for those pesky little Cougars. From what I've been seeing, it seems turbo cars keep the stock block together longer, and I've seen many well over 600 to the ground hold together for years. I'll just hope I'm that lucky. Believe me, I know the risk though. :nice:

yea, there is a guy around here that has been through quite a few stock blocks on his TT notch.

You thought that was a personal attack? That was just my assesment of your general outlook on the subject. There's a difference between having an opinion of your own, and showing a lack of respect for someone else’s. You don't need to like the SN95 body style, but you also don't have to go out of your way to make those of us that do, feel insignificant because of it. You had a bit of a condescending attitude that needed addressing, so I addressed it for you. ;)

Otherwise, I have nothing against you, or your Fox.

Cauley you are a riot. LoLoL

Now back to the subject. I believe in the early mid 90s there was a tech shift in aero dynamics and suspension in Mustangs and camaros..I owned both. The suspensions were a leap forward as well as the aero dynamics.....94 z and 94 stang were ,and are classics that will look great for a long time....shifting my Cobra with its King Coba clutch and Nitros applied is not something any girls I know are acclimated to. And I do know some tough cookies.Besides this whole thread was about food too. Brats on the Border by me the Mustang Chef.
