Guy with Camaro

The times you are talking about are purely ideal conditions and with a GREAT driver. These cars run quite a bit slower in the REAL world with less than perfect weather, normal track prep and an average driver... I typically see stockish 94-98s in the low 15s; 99-04s in the mid 14s; and 05+s in the very very high 13s or low 14s.

My dad has taken his 06GT out at the track twice and ran low 14s both times. It's an automatic and I didn't improve on his times when I drove it.

So why not talk about REAL WORLD times instead of 'it could run XX.XX if the weather is perfect and you drive the nuts off it'? Besides, let the kid think these cars are slow and clean his clock some night.

When I was talking to him I was saying what the cars were capable of in stock form.....not what they would run everytime...still, the kid acts like mustang gts are as slow as civics
