Here is what i found not far from my home... is this going to be streetable in my 95gt... will i be able to pass inspection etc. also will i be able to run this motor on stock ecu????

i have a 306 for sale. its has a forged crank, forged i beam rods, 30 over forged pistons..has an new msd pro billet dizzy..gt40p heads with some port and bowl work, nothing extensive by any means..stock oil pan, has a comp cams cam..dont remember the part number..its exactly the same as an f cam. new water pump, stock balancer. its a stock production block. car runs awesome..pulls really hard even with the restrictive p heads. i have bbk 1 5/8" long tubes for the p heads that will come along with the motor. going to a different combination so this gotta go. compression with the heads is 9.4:1. so its still very blower, turbo, nos friendly. has never had a power adder on it..only has a few thousand miles on it. would like to see 1100 for everything.

Holy hell. I'd get that in a heartbeat for $1100. You may need a tune to get the most out of it but you'll know once you start it. Is this just the long block or does it have the intake and injectors as well?

306 vs 302

306 vs 302.... whats the difference.... because of right now this 306 looks like a great deal i talked to the guy some more and im gonna check this out tomorrow
this is what he sent me.... he doesent know what kind of heads they are but they are iron heads... he also told me the compression is 8.5:1 which seems low but great if i boost it later on... so basically he said its complete with oil pump waterpump and a few other things... im thinking about offering him $500 without the heads if he includes the injectors fuel rails and cam.... and buy my self a set of gt40ps to put on this motor.... my question is... he had 19lb injectors on the 306.... is that safe... i mean i guess it is if im running N/A.. Please post som feed back for me guys.... you think this engine is better then me buying an explorer engine... it will probally come out to the same price since im getting a decent cam here... he said the cam is a mild one from jegs... and the car this was in was a daily driver... he bought the engine for his 94 gt.... but then bought a fox project that has a 306 in it already so hes keeping the 302 in his 94 to use it as a daily driver....

Also if you want, Ill sell you the motor, with injectors and the extra
heads but Ill take the cam out and give it to you for 600.00, i can use
the cam in my foxbody if itsn ot going to be much use for your stock
heads... up to you just let me know.
