Ok I recieved my alt from PA Performance a couple days ago. But I am just now getting to putting it on the bracket. I hope if the weather permits to have most of the install done on Sunday. But anyways, im getting the bracket ready tonight so I will be able to go ahead and get that on. On the alt hold down that connect to the bottom of the smog pump, the hole that it goes to on the alt isnt large enough. It is very tiny hole on the alt itself. Also the top of the alternator hits the bottom of the smog pump, so should I just grind a little off the bottom of the smog pump or what? Then do I just drill the alternator hole big enough and then tap it? Or could I just drill it and put a bolt through and a nut on the other end? Damn alternator has caused me too many problems But im sure it will be worth it.

Unless they changed the design there should be a small curved like bracket that bolts to the botton of the smog pump and then bolts to the alt. the bolt should be a 3/8" dia. bolt. Didn't have to do any drilling or grinding.

Oh hell nevermind. I found the bolt that I'm supposed to use. It was in the alternator pack. I'm such a dumbass.

Glad you got that figured out. PA Alternators are the best. Plus their pictorial work instructions are awesome!
