Guys with DR's or slicks on ponys

Hey guys, Been a while since ive posted on here, but anyway im getting the car ready for the track soon so i can run some better times than last year. I have some old pony rims i want to throw ET streets on. Specifically 26x10.5/16. I saw that they recommend a minimum rim width of 7.4" with those tires. Does anyone here run them on the 7" wide ponys? I have the feeling ill have to run a narrower tire

i actually have never seen some on pony wheels, i have a set of 2 stock 10 hole wheels off of like an 87 lx ive been running my ET streets on those for years but i just switched to 5 lug dont these anymore PM me if your interested
