I just got my H&R SS springs today for my 91. I saw on another thread where some of you guys were talking about the H&R SS springs dropping the car too much. I do not want to drop all that much so now I'm hesitant to install them. The guy at Maximum Motorsports told me they would drop me the same as the Eibach Pro Kit. Have I been mislead? And is my car going to suck on launch now? Anybody else have SS springs on a Fox?

The H&R Super sports will lower your car between 1" and 1-1/4" in front, and 7/8" to 1" in the rear.
I installed the H&R's on my car 4 years ago and at that time H&R said the Sport springs would lower 1" in front and 1" in the rear and 4 yrs later there still the same, 1" in front and 1' in the rear, so I'd say if H&R says 1-1/4" in front and 1" in the rear that’s what you'll get within an 1/8" of an inch or less.

You may have gone to MM site for information on the H&R's but if not.

I have a entirely different answer for you than ALMOST STOCK does maybe it depends on whether you have a vert or not? I have a vert and mine is way too low in front and I too have Bilsteins on all 4 corners. I would say the front drop was more like 2"-2.5" (No I don't have H&R Race Springs mine are dark blue) I don't even have a front fender gap at all. I'll try to get pics up by tomorrow so you have an idea what I'm talking about.

If you have the dark blue colored springs then you have the same springs I have there the Sport Springs. H&R does make springs for both HT and Verts, is there a possibility you’ve got the HT springs instead of the Vert springs?
Believe me I'm not to say anyone is right or wrong, it's just that with both of us using the same springs why would there be such a big variation between our 2 cars is all?
