would rubbing be a issue with H&R SuperSport springs and 18x9 wheels wrapped in 275/40/18s ? car currently has these wheels & tires with Eibach Prokit springs and no rubbing. this is on a 94 GT.

thanks.

Is this for the front? It's a big tire to have in the front, you may have tracking issues with that wide of a tire (follows ruts in the road). With a 1.75'' drop in the front and enough weight in the car it will rub the wheel well. I know a guy with a 1.5+'' drop and his 274/40 rub the fender well with a pretty good dip on the highway.

with the prokit, the 275/40s do a good job of filling up the wheel well. since the wheels are 18x9s, the same tire was chosen for rotation purposes. however, now she is wanting the car lower. i was just a little concerned with that size tire and lower springs, there could be a clearance issue (or it may look odd?).

as you guys said, a 35 sidewall would be better with lower springs but these tires have lots of life left and hate to replace.
