HACK JOB GETS PULLED OVER for 1st time!!!

I'm happy I got lucky. It was really stupid, but I think being honest was a huge plus. He must have been a car guy, and just made it seem like he wasn't, because he complimented me on the car a couple of times, and he could see it wasn't fully finished. I'm up right now and I'm gonna go in this morning and....

1. Mount tires on BUllit wheels and get them balanced at my friends shop.
2. Do the front and rear brakes.
3. Get cowl/defrost trim cut and fit in there.
4. Get rear view mirror.
5. Install tag light holders.
6. Paint front calipers black
7. Paint inner front fender shields black.
8. Mount the fox hood release cable into the 2001 dash peice.
9. If it's not too late, polish it up, but if not that can wait til the morning, or during the week. It's beautiful today, so I want to go enjoy it.

Have a good one guys. Do some clean up on our stangs today, it's a perfect day here for it!!!! And don't forget to buy flowers for your Mothers tomorrow!!!!!:nice:

Hey guys. I will get some good pics this week. I will also work on a final "Project 81 Hack Job" thread. I will show some pics from start to finish. I'll need to get a good amount of time to put it all together.

I got the brakes done yesterday. Raybestos pads, new front rotors, and I turned the rear rotors. I also painted the calipers, backing plates and the fender wells black. It looks much better than the red that the calipers were. I also installed 285-40-17 Goodyear Eagle F1's on the rear, and 245-45-R17 Goodyear ZR45's on the front. (Chrome Bullit wheels look sick on it.) Tuesday is alignment and tint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will get some pics up when all the goods are on it and when the sun is bright. I drove it 75 miles yesterday, and man does that thing make everybody look. I'm glad I converted this car over.
