Had a flat tire today

I was driving and i can feel the car turning left, i was woundering how a car with less than 5000kms on the dial would have aligment problems suddenly,
so anyways i stop to get some stuff i comeback to the car a notice a flat tire in the front, anyways,, i call a friend who was supposed to meet me in half an hour and tell him to come help me since i have a cold and didn't have the engergy to change tires, as i start lossing the lugs, my cousin passes by with his friend, they come out and help me change my wheel, it wasn't hard to change execpt i didn't like the way the jack was made, anyways i will take the tire tomorow to get it patched from the inside.

The the non-spare orginal wheel/tire doesn't fit in the back were the spare belongs, or if it does it really had to fit it in,

next time i will have some stuff ready like a glove and a towel to make things simpler and cleaner,

Sorry to hear about your flat, they're never fun. I wonder what it was that you ran over? I usually don't worry about flats, since my tires are like brand new, but I guess it can happen to anyone, eh?

Guess what, the tire was not punchered, the problem was with the tire valve it was leaking the air out, it must be defective because the car has less than 5000km on it (actual 4 218 kilometres = 2 620 miles, has anyone else had this problem, im kind off concerned with this?

I replaced the tire valve at a tire shop but I will be going to the dealership to talk to them about it, what should I tell them?

199 --- Yeah I saw you posted it was a bad valve. The nail comment was for Merlinsteele. What did the tire shop charge you for a new valve? I'm sure FORD would have covered it.

Hmmm, may be a bigger problem than I thought. This is what happened to me;
5000 mi on my '05 GT running 80 mph in the fast lane on I-16, halfway back to Savannah from Macon, when I had a sudden loss of air pressure on drivers front stock tire with upgrade wheel. Tire looked trashed by the time I made it to the shoulder! Changed tires no problem and drove it to the dealer.
Dealer said they didn't repair tires and made me take it to a tire shop. Tire shop said it was not a tire problem, but a broken valve stem. And yes the tire was ruined. Took it back to the dealer who said I must of hit something. I showed them that there was not a mark on the wheel or the valve stem or the car! Then I raised hell about all of the problems I have had with this new car (defective air conditioner manifold, defective Shaker 1000, Defective wiring harness @ sub-woofers killing the battery, Lower front seat covers not staying hooked, etc.). They gave in and replaced the tire and valve, but caused me a lot of aggravation as well as wasting most of the day. Now I soap the stems every time I wash the car looking for leaks. I do a lot of highway driving, and changing tires on the side of an interstate is freaky bad!
Any other valve stem problems out there?

Unf(_)cking believable the right tire valve is defective too, this time my brother was driving my car, he call me to inform me that the front passenger tire is losing air from the tire valve,, It was completely Flat.

I will demand they change the front two tires due to the wear they have sustained from the defective valves, and replace the back two valves only, for future safety,

I will be updating you guy with anything new,

By the way I just got back from the mall were the car was parked the road assisted ass. service, said they can do only one free job tow it to the dealership or changed the tire, I wanted him to do both, but they said they are not authorized even though a man in the service department at the dealership said okay, all the air was out of the tire I would have had to drive out of the car park and put it on the flatbed, I didn’t want the rim to get damaged as the road assisted driver said he will take no responsibility for any damages, so I decided just to have him change the tire, I will be taking my car in tomorrow to the dealership to discuss this situation. I drove the car home.

Front Driver Valve leak at : 4218km = 2620 miles

Front Passenger Valve leak : 4390km = 2727miles

Be careful running through there..that's exactly where I got a speeding ticket the day I bought my 05

I just had my SECOND valve stem go bad yesterday.... both times it was the same thing- about 80 mph cruising along on the highway and fast loss of pressure. It happened on the right front wheel both times. The wheels had been rotated so it wasn't the same wheel as the first time. Both times (once at around 10000 miles and yesterday at 21000 miles) it was exactly the same as the picture that was previously posted. I am going to need a new tire as well. On a side note the factory Pirellis have been absolutely terrible. They have been balanced by Ford five times and never feel right. Guess I will get 4 new different ones.
