When you install headrests in the 87-93 seats. You have to remove that top plastic piece. Do you think that by removing, after sitting in the seat for a long time you could start to tear the fabric where the black clip was? I noticed that if you sanded off the little stub on the black clip that the halo head rests would fit down in the black piece then.
