ok i have been tryin to find the real truth on this and i cant. are there hand held tuners(diablo accel etc.) for 87-93 fox's or not. i didnt wanna ask but i could not find this info anywhere
i dont think so because those years dont have obd2 and thats the port all those tuners plug into. they are a waste of money anyways. add 2-4* on your base timing and run a higher octane fuel and youll get the same gain as you would with a tuner
anderson PMS is prob what your looking for. it is handheld, piggy backs with the stock computer. you do have to leave it hooked up if you want to use its features, so its not like a chip burner. you can adjust stuff like rev limiter, injector pulse, fuel curves and more. it is pretty much plug and play.
are you running speed density(stock setup for 87-88) or a mass air setup? as far as i know no tuners are available for the sd setup. if i am wrong i would like to know the info also.
