Well after 2 years of this throttle hanging being a thorn in my side I just got use to it and thought it was apart of modding a 94-95. My tuner couldn't even get it to stop during a 5hr dyno-tune lol.
Well I got the Fox TB conversion fully installed, and the hangng throttle is a thing of the past! It must be from the Accufab TB!!
I've ran a BBK forever, but so many people said that was my idle prob (I was like no way) but now I'm thinking it was!

Example of now...Going 45mph push the clutch in..idle drops straight down to 900-1000rpm...I seriously couldn't belive it!

Example of before...Going 45mph push the clutch in..idle goes to 1600rpm and holds, I come to a stop idle stays at 1600rpm for 5-6 seconds then drops down.
Had to be my biggest pet peeve(sp) with the car!
And to top it off the throttle response is way better and I haven't even had it re-tuned (head work and more boost)

Awesome man! I was talking with Jake about the swap (giving me directions, prices, etc.) and I think you both have me sold. I would like to see how much it helped you out with the blower too.

Yeah I'm still kinda in shock, I've tried alot of things in the past and nothing helped. Maybe save a lil on gas now to lol.
I guess the main thing is if your at a dead end (like I was) and nothing seems to fix the high idle, swapping TB's does help. I wish Accufab made them for the 94-95's.
I've heard the FMS ones don't have this prob, but only go up to 65mm, anyone with a FMS TB feel free to chime in.

I bought the kit for the power gains, and to clean the bay up. I was skeptical that it would help the idle, but I had a lil luck this time and it cured the prob!!

I have a FMS 65mm and I love it. No problems with either the install or performance.

Glad you fixed your hanging throttle. You have to let me know when it's a good time to come see your stang in running condition.

Isn't that the truth!
Hope this helps some of you, because I had pretty much given up.

Yeahloh....the gains so far have been pretty obvious, the boost comes on alot quicker...I had 5psi already where I normally had 1-2psi.

ive been saying for some time that i felt the lost power in SN95's vs the Fox cars is in the TB setup...and this and Jake's testimonies are just making me more confident on my stance...
