Hankook Ventus Tires

i have them on my car & love em :nice: really good wet & dry traction. i have 275/40-17's all the way around & the car handles great. if i get the deep dish bullitts i'm still keeping these tires up front & of course some nitto's out back :D
i think i have a pic of them on my computer if you want it

K104's here. Think I got them for $400 all around. I like them fine for daily driving. Don't know how they'd be at the track though. :nice:

i guess i should have put that i have the 104's in my first post  but as for at the track, i'm happy with mine. i can usually pull consistant 2.03-2.08 60's, it's not a amazing 60ft but it's not too bad either, considering i'm not really hard on it at the track. if i was to really slip the clutch hard i'm sure i could get a sub 2.00 60ft :nice:

I'm running the same and love them. Compared to the other big tire manufactures you can't beat them. I paid $109 and can't quote any track times but love them in wet and dry weather.

If your looking for some good tires check out firestone they have have a discount brand called Dayton. I had Bridgestone potenzas before and they were awesome the Dayton Daytonas look almost identical and when you compare the materials and design construction they are almost identical. Just throwin somethin' out there.

i have those tires in the back only in 275/40/17.. i got them for 95 each... so i couldnt pass them up.. so far they are a real good tire. i drive real hard on my car and they still have alot of tread on them... not too bad at the track with 20 psi in them.. i just need to really learn how to launch my car...

Are they an all season tire or just a high performance tire?

no definately not a all season tire. really good in rain & dry pavement too, but forget about it in the snow :nonono: i tried to take the stang out in it on the first snow we had, i could barely let out on the clutch without going sideways

20psi sounds a bit low. remember taking out too much air will have a 'cup effect' thus not having the tread patch not completely on the ground.
