This is a couple of days late, but August 28, was the date 12 years ago that we brought my pony home from Vogler Ford in Carbondale Illinois. No cake, but she did recently get new headlights, parking lamps, corner lights, door lock actuator, ICM, and new floormats. 79,000 on the odometer and still doing well.
In August 1993, my wife now, found the car in the prep row at the dealership. She inquired about it and was told that it was already sold. For 2 weeks she visited it and it was still on the lot. She asked about it again and was told that the guy who ordered it had backed out of the deal. So, there wasn't too much haggling on price since they knew we wanted her. We traded off her 91 prism
and brought her home. 2 weeks later we got married and was a couple that had a 92 bimini blue mustang and a 93 reef blue mustang, both lx coupes 
It was cool for a while untill the family thing kicked in 
The 92 was traded off and the 93 became my pony and daily driver.
