Well, I finally did it. I have been at the cross-roads for awhile with my current 98 and all the $$ I have sunk into it: Do I sink in more to allow for a forged engine, or cut my losses and go with an 03?

The wife decided for me - I am now the proud owner of a brand new 03 Silver Vert! I will miss the 500rwhp of my 98, but hey - the 03 is a close second in power.

I hope you plan on making 500+rwhp with you '03 or I think you just made a BIG mistake.

Someone else is getting to appreciate the monster - I got nowhere near what I wanted for it, but from the research I did, i knew I wouldnt.

GTJay - I do not think it was a big mistake - and here's why.
For the power I was making - I needed to build a safe motor, plus upgrade the fuel system ( again!). That would have set me back another 15grand. Then, even with that done - the value would be the same, Id just be more in the whole. So instead, I sunk that 15K into a brand new car - already has the forged engine, and a full warranty. I will probably throw on some nice sounding exhaust, then keep it stock till the warranty runs out. Then, the modding fun will really begin. Plus, I have always wanted a Vert
