Happy Sweet 16

The Cobra turned 16 years old today according to the SVT Build Sheet. Sadly it's 60 miles away over in the next state at Rio5.0's he did the 4.10 swap for me and also threw on my fox TB conversion. I'll be getting it back this weekend.

16 years old and 72,000 miles on the clock, few minor blemish's in the paint and a few dings but over all its in great shape. Cant wait to see how it feels with the 4.10's and the anderson 4" power pipe plowing in air to the 75MM Accufab TB! Hopefully it still runs as good and looks as good when it hits 20 years old. I still plan on having it then as well.

Well I just came back from a 25 minute test drive to let the puter get the idle squared away and see how she ran... All I can say is that things hauls azz....




I didnt beat on it as I wouldnt do that with someone elses ride....but towards the end of the test run when all seemed just fine I decided it was time to see what it had....Holy chit !!! even my son heard it and said it sounded nasty. It has a serious mid & upper range hit...I even had a ricer ride up on my azz and going blowing by like a vacuum cleaner trying to run me....

If my 331 has that kinda snap I'll be a happy guy. Between the 410s and the Fox swap it hits harder and even idles better than before.. It'll be crazy driving it home in the rain. All I need to do is a full idle reset tomorrow when its cold and she's done...

Thats great to hear , yeah driving in the rain will really suck so I guess I wont get to open it up myself until the storm this weekend moves out.

Hopefully the dyno shows a difference as well from the fox swap. Not just from a SN95 VS Fox Stand point but b/c that power pipe is so much bigger which I think that engine needs anyway. If there is any time on saturday you want us to get there let me know we can come down anytime or like in the afternoon like before.

amazing to think how old these cars are really getting. I hit me a couple weeks ago when I was talking to the wife about getting a 2014 50th anniversary stang that the 94 would be 20 years old at that point...
