Hey,,,, I recently picked up a 94 5.0 GT,,,,and I love it
Recently it has developed a hard starting issue,, Its starts like a dream in the morning,,,then sometimes,,,, all it will do is crank over,,,,,sometimes it starts just fine
When I notice it most is when I have driven it for about 15 minutes or so,,,,then let it set for a while,,,,,,,then it will just crank, no start
Sometimes its once or twice ,,,,or maybe 20 times ,,hitting the key,,,or if i let it set,,,,then it will start
The guy I bought it from said that it was starting hard,,,, he put a coil on it,,,he said it seemed to solve the problem,,,,WRONG!!!!
I did put a new igniton module in ,,,, that didnt help,,,,I am turning toward the possibility of a bad (pick-up) Hall Effect in the distributor,,,,, does that sound like the way to go?? I hope u can help
Oh buy the way,,,if i decide to put a distributor in it,,,,,,, will the oil pump drive shaft fall out and end up in the bottom of the pan,,,, like the older 302's?
