I'm considering purchasing a 347 crate engine from them. Has anyone purchased a crate motor from them?

I havent purchased an engine from them, but I almost did. After looking into it I decided on another place. I was told that they build good engines, but it takes them a lot longer than they say it will. And also, when you try to call and find out what is going on, they dont hardly ever answer the phone. Thats just too much money to be wondering if you are going to get your engine, and when. I ended up going with a place out of California called M&R engines. They are really good, and they are no problem to get ahold of when you need to. I went with a 331 crate engine with AFR 185's for a little over $4000. Hope this helps you out.

T and L website
Stroker Engines_Crate Motors_Stroker Kits_NC Custom Stroker Engines-TandLEngine Development Stanfield, NC

I have read some good things and some bad things. One of the owners told me that they have had problems getting engines out the door but mostly on engines that require exotic parts. He said with the Ford 347 is a straight forward engine and parts are easy to aquire.

Anyone else??
