Have you bought from Maerracing? BEWARE

I bought a rearend from maerracing in Kentucky. I had to return it for repair. He said it would take 2 weeks. That was in May now it is almost August! I can't get in touch with him by phone because it is always busy. I e-mail him and he always says "Next week" Beware if you need a rearend. His webpage looks good and he seems nice but he is slow as Christmas!! Any suggestions or thoughts on what I should do to get my rearend back?

I met Jack McCane at the Columbus show a few years ago. A bit scary to say the least. I've heard nothing but horror stories about him, and judging from what I saw, I'm not exactly surprised; a very "salesman" type guy. I hear the KY Atty. General has been trying to get him for a while now.

It is now August 12. He finally shipped my rearend. I had to file a claim with the Kentucky Attorney General and the BBB. (Already has 7 claims against him) He said he couldn't answer the phone because his back was hurt. also his e-mail was down. Amazing what a quick turn around it finally was. second that, bought my 8" chunk from him with a posi and 3.55s off ebay. Not only did the item arrive a month and a half after he recieved payment but the crappy posi worked 20% of time and never at the track . . .
