Ok I got a couple of questions for you. I know I messed up but I learned my lesson.

Question #1: I know your not suppsed to turn the distributer while its out but it happened and I didn't mark it before I removed it. What can I do?

Question #2: While I was removing the lower intake some dirt fell into the ports of the heads. I really can't get all of it. Is this bad?

Question #3: The PVC valve is on the end of a hose, but there are two other ends of hoses of that same connetion I can't figuere out where to connect. The whole thing has a T shape to it.

Question 1: When i did my Cobra intake i took the distributor out, and it got turned by mistake, then when i put it back in i spent an hour trying to figure out the timing cause i didnt have a timing light and it was 1 in the morning, you just have to keep turning it and messing with it untile the car starts, but if you have access to a timing light, deff. get one

Question 2: When i removed mine some fell in also, but i was fortunate enough that it didnt fall in all the way and i got to it. I know its not good that it fell in, but i have no idea what you should do about that

Question 3: I dont have a Vacume diagram anywhere or anything, but im sure someone else will chime in with one or something

Question 2.... if it's still apart... use a vaccum cleaner???? It might suck it right out of there. What's the worst that could happen? You lose a little fluid and lube your shop vac?

I tried that. I got almost all of it out but I know there is still some left. I can't do anymore. Will it hurt my engine?

for question 1, you can always take out the sparkplug on the #1 cylinder and bump the engine over till you get it to top-dead-center (you will feel air being pushed out the sparkplug hole). Figure out which plug wire goes to the #1 cylinder and mark it's position on the dist. base. Take the dist. cap off and aign the dist. with that point and drop it in. This will get close enough to start it most times and then use a timing light to adjust it after that.

It would all depend on how much dirt.... we've got sooo many rednecks around here running around with no hood and no air filter on their carbed motors and zipping down dirt roads, that it makes me think it won't hurt it. But I guess it could matter what was in the "dirt".

Just make sure you change your oil filter soon. Also get a magnetic oil plug if you don't already have one.

Question #3: the T hose should go to the far upper right corner of the upper plenum.(the point of perspective is that you you looking at it from in front of the car)

About the timing....Can I just use a timing light or will that not work cause the gears will be different from the distributer?

Ok got the dirt question shouldn't be a problem execpt where can I get a magnetic oil plug?

in order to do your timing, you need to first set your #1 cylinder at top dead center. My way:

get a buddy. take a good size piece of toilet paper that wont fall in there and put it in the #1 spark plug hole in the head. have him bump the ignition little by little. when the cylinder reaches TDC, itll shoot the toilet paper out. use a pencil light to make sure you arent 180* out. next check your balancer and set it to 0*. put the distributor out, put the rotor at 12 o clock. put the distributor back in. have a buddy crank the car. turn the dist. to the right to begin advancing the timing until itll hold then take it from there.

If you remember roughly where the rotor was pointing when you pulled the dist out you can drop it in that way get it started and adjust with the timing light. Otherwise you will have to do it like sixthgear said. In that case have some one crank over the car and put your finger over the #1 plug hole on the cylinder head, when you feel compression, tell the person to stop cranking. Oh, and if you didnt know #1 cylinder is the one on the passenger side closest to the radiator.
