So i used to run holley systemax II heads on my 351w. 165cc intake runners. I swapped to a set of vic jrs and I picked up 4mph in the 1/8 mile lost 2 tenths in the 60 foot and gained 1 tenth over all. The question I have is how much hp did I gain from this swap. I was running 83-84 mph before now I run 88-89 mph in the 1/8 mile N/A. Did I really pich up 60 ponies? This just seems like a stretch to me.

I don't know if it feels like 60 hp. The car has always felt great. I was wondering if there is a mathmatical calculation you can do to give you a rough estimate with the mph difference.

I wouldnt be suprised to see a 60hp gain.....vic jrs are by far the best out of the box value in my opinion! Whats more important is how much you gained across the overall power band! Im my humble opinion i think you would see more gain from the 4500- 6500 rpm band if you added a vic jr intake....not saying the stealth is bad by any means.... I LOVED MY STEALTH with my c9 heads but when i bought better heads i went for a better intake. I think you are limiting some of your potential by not swaping intakes.....and a bigger cam would certaintly wake your sleeping giant up! ( if i remember right you have an energy cam right?)
