header help...

Im looking for a new set of headers for my 94. I have Hedman equal lengths and I hate em! They burn up my clutch cables, they take up too much room, and they leak. Since my EGR and smog stuff is disconected, can I use pre-94 type headers? Or would I be better to by 94-95 type and weld shut the EGR tube? Thanks!

If you do run end up running headers with the EGR bung

Why not just get one of those caps at your local hardware store

Then if you ever need the bung or want to sell them to someone who
might want it ... Well ... its always better to have more options

I'm pretty sure Fox shortys would fit

[YELLOW 94]

I tried a set of bbk 86-93 headers and could not get the h pipe to seal on the passanger side header. The flow tech headers (94-95) I had on it sealed just fine. It might of just been my h pipe, but not sure. Good luck

A good muffler shop can correct that.... but then it has to be worth the $$ to you.

I just put the flow tech headers back on. They fit way better than the bbk's.
