Headers and GT40P Heads

IIRC I think you can get away with regular headers, just as long as you are using 90* boots on your spark plug wires???

The issue is the angle of the spark plugs, and the "P" specific headers allow clearance needed.

I could have swore there was a thread about using normal headers with P heads somewhere...

Let me save you some money, some shipping charges, time spent, and restocking fees. Do not buy anything that looks like they will fit for those heads. You have no idea what your up against. I explained it all in the other post. Let me repeat it again. No one here can tell you more than myself about GT40P exhaust. I am the real deal. I did the same thing your doing, and am almost ashamed to admit how much I screwed up in this venture. Be smart, buy the ones that say they are made for a GT40P head or from someone who has actually used another header that fit with no problems. If you buy those, based just on looks, then your an idiot like I was and you deserve them and all the horrors of paying to ship them back, or loosing money on Ebay trying to sell them and the fees involved, and then there are the other idiots who refuse to pay you as well. You see the picture below? This is the GT40P pile exhaust I have obtained. Maybe I sound rude and obnoxious, but I just want someone to have a good experience based on some good information for a change instead of all the guessing people tend to do on forums. You said you wanted EGR in your other post, and I told you the options again. I am just trying to help you save your money. Many companies post in BIG LETTERS that their product will not fit the cursed GT40p heads, because they get people like us that still look at a picture and base a decision. PYPES is good stuff, but unless they have a tech or salesman who can answer your question on GT40p with a "YES" you be like the last sentence in my other post.
